Kalvin “KD” Dobbins, a self-taught instrumentalist, began his musical journey at the age of five. Influenced by his father, a multi-talented musician, and other family members, he has become one of the most prolific accompanists in St. Louis, despite never having formal training.

Over the years, Kalvin has dedicated himself to developing a unique and inclusive sound that is both unparalleled and ahead of its time. His exceptional approach to composition has made him a highly sought-after collaborator among numerous artists. In addition to his solo work, Kalvin is the lead singer for the River Roosters band and a member of the Dirty Muggs band, where he continues to showcase his musical talents. He also has original compositions that feature an alter ego named Ice Kream Jonez, adding another layer to his artistic expression. Furthermore, Kalvin is the owner of KED2 Productions, a sound and lighting company that enhances the musical experience for events and performances.
